Okay so some of us are only interested in the US Open at New York’s Flushing Meadows for as long as tennis hero Andy Murray remains in it.

The Seal team hit the streets of Shrewsbury early in the morning armed with big bunches of flowers and rolls of artificial grass.

Tasked with creating a floral explosion in two main focal points of the town centre the team rather rudely 'awoke' the statues of Charles Darwin (above) and Clive of India.

Statues and benches were decorated, on behalf of client the Shrewsbury Business Improvement District, to bring an essence of the Shropshire town's annual Flower Show (8 & 9 August) to the town centre and and encourage show visitors to spend time there.
